Default Travolta B707 to HARS

Announcement on the HARS website today.

http://hars.org.au/2017/05/john-trav...ates-707-hars/

That is something totally unexpected and kept very quiet. Will be interesting to see if the arrangement is purely to deliver to and preserve at HARS, or to keep as an airworthy example.

I think they are going to need a bigger airfield and collection of hangars if they keep this up.

Unhappy 707

No point in keeping it airworthy.

It wouldn't be allowed to fly due noise regulations.

JT's press release implies that it will continue flying. VH-XBA did quite a lot of local flying before it was retired at Longreach. Never underestimate HARS.
