What is Aussie Warbirdz?
Aussie Warbirdz is run by Aviation Photographer Glenn Alderton and is designed to allow photographers to advertise their pictures and enthusiasts to enjoy them. All online pictures are available for sale from the site at prices that are set unless otherwise indicated by the Photographer.

These images can be purchased as prints either framed or not or a licence for commercial use can be purchased. Additionally, to cater for a growing requirement for specific images our photographers can be commissioned to produce required work.

We set up this site to address the lack of such a service her in Australia. A site where the pictures are affordable and who's staff are knowledgeable about aviation. This site started out as a site specifically for Australians but has grown to include photographers from anywhere in the world.

So you want to upload?
This site has been set up specifically for enthusiasts. This means that there is no charge for uploading your photographs here, nor do you need to put them up for sale. They are there for others who share your passion to enjoy and if they decide they wish to purchase a copy for their wall or if a business would like to use your image in a magazine or add campaign we will represent your interests in that sale. At this point, we keep a commission from the sale which is dependant on our level of involvement.

We know you would much rather be taking photographs than dealing with the sale of them so we can offer a complete service where we arrange for the printing and shipping of pictures or we can simply forward the orders to you to arrange the printing and shipping. There are charges for each service which will be forwarded to you upon application.

It is our intention when the site is fully functional to approach organisations to ensure they are aware of the service we offer and to represent your interests in future sales.

Shortly we will have a forum specifically for Photographers where our commercial clients can request specific images.

Commercial Use
A commercial account with us enables the forwarding of high quality digital images within 24 hours of any request either via email or cd version. In addition to this service we can offer extensive knowledge of the specifications of aircraft. We are building up an extensive collection of aviation pictures as well as top quality photographers available upon request in most parts of the world. Images from our photographers have been used in nearly every major aviation magaine and news agency in the world, they are of the highest quality and we have photographers that work in digital and/or film as required.

We will shortly be offering a secure area of the site specifically for commercial clients including a forum where requests can be forwarded directly to our photographers so if it's not online you will still be able to find it as well as an area where our freelancers can advertise their written articles for purchase and use in magazines. In addition to this we will offer some images that have not yet been released to the general public for those who seek exclusive images and with the photographers permission images can be removed if exlusive rights are purchased. We keep a record of the purchase details of all the images on the site and this can be made available to our Commercial clients.

The Enthusiast
The best photos and a range of other products at realistic prices as well as some other, interesting items in the near future. In addition to that, we have the forums where you can chat with other enthusiasts and it is our intention to expand the site to contain a lot of interesting information such as radio frequencies, airport information and other general aviation information.

A framed image of a favourite photograph would make an excellent present for someone, we can arrange shipping directly to a third party if requested and we can find and arrange framing of specific aircraft if required. Imagine how great it would be to be able to send someone a framed picture of the plane they actually flew on!
